We need your support
At Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis, your gift ensures that survivors of violence have the support services they need to rebuild their lives. Your contribution to Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis will help provide services to over 1500 women and children a year, including:
- 24-hour support and shelter at Marianne’s Place for women and their children
- Play groups for children at Marianne’s Place
- Group support, workshops and self-esteem building for women through the Sexual Assault Centre
- Reaching out to rural women in Wellington County through the Rural Women’s Support Program
- Help with family and immigration legal issues through the Transitional and Housing Support Program
- Safety planning for a mother and her child through all our programs and the 24-Hour Crisis Line

During regular office hours you can call 519 836 1110 to make a credit card donation. We would also be happy to send you additional information about our organization and personally answer any questions you may have in making a gift-giving decision that is right for you.
Join our Monthly Giving Program
Join Our Monthly Giving Program – Donors can choose to budget their annual donation in 12 equal installments. It's an easy and affordable way to make a donation and saves the time and expense of filling out forms, writing a cheque and finding a stamp. Plus, when you become a monthly donor, you are helping to reduce our processing costs. The money saved adds up and goes back into our essential programs and services, where it's needed most. Funding for Our Programs
As a non-profit organization, we rely on donations to provide much-needed services to women who have experienced emotional, physical, sexual and/or financial abuse, and to advocate on behalf of women.
A large portion of our funding comes from the generosity of the community through fundraising and our annual Dinner and Auction. We also raise funds through special events, corporate donations and certain programs are enhanced and supported by special project grants from foundations.
